Mr. Heald's primary practice area involves the representation of Plaintiffs and Defendants in complex civil matters. Mr. Heald is board certified in both personal injury trial law and civil trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Mr. Heald has represented both Plaintiffs and Defendants over the past 26 years and has taken well over 125 jury verdicts. As defense counsel, Mr. Heald has served as lead counsel in cases involving construction law, tortious interference, contracts, deceptive trade practices, personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, negligence, premises liability, and sexual assault. As plaintiff's counsel, Mr. Heald has served as lead counsel in cases involving insurance bad faith, deceptive trade practices, wrongful death, mass toxic torts, stock option disputes, real estate disputes, nuisance cases and class actions. Outside the practice of law, Mr. Heald serves as an adjunct professor at Lamar University -- Beaumont.
